<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables a base station and a user terminal to obtain an appropriate timing for handover so as to improve the throughput of the user. <P>SOLUTION: A method includes: a step (101) in which a serving base station transmits a report condition of a handover measurement report and a handover condition to a user terminal, where the report condition of the handover measurement report correlates with at least the performance of plural carriers of the serving base station; a step (102) in which the user terminal performs measurement for a serving cell and an adjacent cell based on measurement setting, and reports the handover measurement report to the serving base station when the report condition of the handover measurement report is satisfied; and a step (103) in which the serving base station determines whether the user terminal requires handover based on the handover measurement report and the handover condition, and selects a target base station to execute a handover execution process if the user terminal is determined to require the handover. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
