PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for a vehicle capable of supplying two different voltages of power respectively at a lower cost as compared to before.SOLUTION: A capacitor 4 and a switch element 5 which are connected in parallel with each other are connected between a voltage control type ACG2 and a lead battery 3 as a power source of a low voltage, the capacitor 4 is used as a power source of a high voltage, and a control means 9 performs such a control as to switch a first power generation mode in which the switch element 5 is off and the voltage control type ACG2 performs power generation of a high voltage power and a second power generation mode in which the switch element 5 is on and the voltage control type ACG2 performs power generation of a low voltage power from each other in accordance with respective power consumption circumstances of powers in a high voltage load 7 and a low voltage load 6 detected by power sensors 10, 11. |
