PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition device and an image recognition method with which a user can learn the shape and size of an article by taking an image of the article.SOLUTION: An image recognition device photographs a first image capturing an article (S402), calculates the length of a first diagonal line and the length of a second diagonal line of the article on the basis of the first image (S404 to S410), and when the value of a ratio of the length of the first diagonal line to the length of the second diagonal line falls within a first range (S414: YES), outputs a result of the recognition (S416). |
