PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give continuous interest to a player by showing a display style having a sense of attendance especially in the depth direction of a display screen. SOLUTION: Plural types of color pallet data for determining the hue of a texture to be more bright as closer to a view point SP are each set correspondingly to a distance from the view point SP. In accordance with the coordinates of a pattern object OZ set on a world coordinate system and the coordinates of the view point SP, a distance ΔPx from the view point SP is found. The type of the texture to be pasted to the pattern object is determined to the size of the ΔPx. As a result, a pattern which has gradually more bright hue as coming closer to a screen is displayed on a display screen, thus giving a sense of attendance to a player. |
