PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with a detachable automatic ice making machine, not performing water supply motion with an ice tray detached. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with a full-ice detection input means 25 performing full-ice detection and also ice tray presence/absence detection for detecting whether the ice tray is attached to an ice separating mechanism 8 or not, and a water supply control means 26 performing ice separating motion before water supply, and controlling whether the water is supplied to the ice tray from a water supply device or not on the basis of the input of a signal from the full-ice detection input means 25. As the water supply motion is not performed when the ice tray is detached, a situation that an ice storage case is flooded as the water is supplied even though the ice tray is detached, can be prevented.
