PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small and thin antenna which is less affected by a leakage current and ensures an impedance matching. SOLUTION: A back face of a linear antenna element 10 includes a grounded back face metal plate 20 shielding a radiation of an electromagnetic wave in one direction of the anntena element and a power-feed metal plate 30 is arranged between the back face metal plate 20 and the antenna element 10 at a predetermined interval free from contact with them. When electric power is fed to the power-feed metal plate 30, the antenna element 10 is excited via a coupling capacitance Cs between the power-feed metal plate 30 and the antenna element 10.
