PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a die material itself into a material having satisfactory lubricating properties. SOLUTION: The die material is obtained by solidifying a tool steel powder mixed with a carbon powder material by 1 to 10 vol.%, in which Vickers hardness is 800 to 1,100, and in the case of a friction test where an electrogalvanized steel is used as a mating material, a load stress is 0.4 MPa; a sliding velocity is 30 mm/min and a sliding distance is 12 mm; its friction coefficient is 0.1 to 0.l5.
