PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing precipitation of silica by pouring an alkaline agent without precipitating calcium silicate hydrate (CSH), in fluid having a high calcium concentration and a high dissolved silica concentration.SOLUTION: Scale development is suppressed by performing a metal ion inactivation process of inactivating metal ion by pouring a chelating agent into the fluid containing calcium and silica and circulating through a flow passage on the side downstream of a production well outlet, and an alkaline agent pouring process of pouring the alkaline agent into the fluid at the same time as the metal ion inactivation process or after the metal ion inactivation process.
