PURPOSE: An inspection system and an inspection method for a hub assembly are provided to maximize working space efficiency and reduce the time needed for an inspection process. CONSTITUTION: An inspection system for a hub assembly comprises a transfer unit(10), a cleaning and drying unit(20), a bolt seating unit(30), a bolt fixing unit, an inspection unit, a marking unit, and a discharge unit. The transfer unit transfers a hub(1) to a transfer apparatus(12). The cleaning and drying unit comprises a cleaning nozzle(24) and a drying nozzle(26) and cleans and dries the transferred hub. The bolt seating unit comprises a hub seating member(32), a starting point sensing member(34), and a bolt supply device(36). The bolt supply device supplies a hub bolt to the upper portion of the hub seating member. The inspection unit inspects the inner diameter of the hub and a spline. The marking unit marks the exterior of the transferred hub. The discharge unit discharges the marked hub.
