<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of preventing water droplets from being mixed in an air to be sent out from an air feed port and avoiding failure caused by the mixing-in of the water droplets, and to provide an air cleaner including the humidifier.SOLUTION: In a humidifier immersing a lower part of a disk-shaped holding frame 30 for storing and holding a humidification filter 31 in a water tank 6, passing an air through the humidification filter 31 containing water stored in the water tank 6 and generating and feeding a wet air including evaporated moisture, a transmission ring 32 configured as a ring gear with a diameter smaller than that of the holding frame 30 is circumferentially attached to one surface of the holding frame 30, which is an air input side, a transmission gear 51 of a drive unit 5 is engaged with the transmission ring 32; rotational driving force of the drive unit 5 is transmitted to the holding frame 30 through the transmission gear 51 and the transmission ring 32; and the holding frame 30 and the humidification filter 31 are rotated to pass the water attached to the outer periphery of the transmission ring 32 and scattered by action of an air flow to the inside of the holding frame 30 to cause the humidification filter 31 to absorb the water.</p> |
