SIDE GUIDER FOR RIDING RICE TRANSPLANTER

The present invention relates to a side guide for a riding type rice transplanter which allows an operator to easily fold and unfold a side load by operating a switch, ensures a smooth operability, excludes a concern for any failure, and thereby, reduces time and costs involved with maintenance. The riding type rice transplanter comprises: a hood finished by being mounted with an engine at a front of a main frame; an adjustment space installed in a rear of the hood to have a driver′s seat and operation levers to enable an operator to perform operations required for driving and rice transplanting work; front and rear wheels installed at both front and rear sides of the main frame; and a rice transplanting unit including a rice seedling mounting frame holding a rice seedling mounting plate connected to an elevating means at a rear of the frame, and a rice transplanting device; a side guide enabling an operator to visually identify driving reference in the process of rice planting work in a side direction of the rice seedling mounting plate wherein the side guide is configured to operate by including: a guide bar projecting in a side direction of the rice seedling mounting plate; an operation body fastened to the guide bar through a hinge pin to be unfolded in an outer direction of the riding type rice transplanter and to be folded in upper directions of the riding type rice transplanter; and a side load fixed to the operation body and having a guide tip on an end which can be checked easily and visually by an operator wherein the operation body is configured to move by means of an operation means installed at an outer end of the rice seedling mounting plate.
