Provided is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which allows facilitating manufacturing and lowering manufacturing costs. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery (1) includes an electrode body (15) comprising an anode electrode and a cathode electrode; and an outer can (10). The outer can (10) includes a can body (11) housing the electrode body (15) and opening on one side of the thickness direction of the electrode body (15); and a cover (12) for sealing the opening of the can body (11). The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery (1) also includes: an anode terminal (13) installed on the outer surface of the cover (12) and electrically connected to the anode electrode; and a cathode terminal (14) installed on the outer surface of the cover (12) and electrically connected to the cathode electrode.
