Provided is an oil seal separating an air side and an oil side by sealing a gap between a shaft and a shaft hole, which is available for maintaining a contact with the shaft, even though a negative pressure is generated on the oil side. The oil seal comprises a fixing part (20) fixed on the inner circumferential surface of the shaft hole (12); a bellows part (24) extended axially and diametrically toward the inner side from the fixing part (20); a cylindrical part (26) extended axially toward an air side (A) from the end (25) of the diametrical inner side of the bellows part (24); and a laid sealing rib (30) axially extended toward the diametrical inner side and also the oil side (O) from the end (28) of the air side (A) of the cylindrical part (26), and coming in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the shaft by a sliding material, wherein a ring-shaped bead part (36) protruding diametrically toward the outer side is installed on the outer circumferential side of the sealing rib (30). |
