摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating groove bottom crack resistance performance of a tread groove by using a test piece of a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a method for evaluating groove bottom crack resistance performance of a tread groove 4 provided on a tread rubber 2 of a tire 1. The method includes: a test piece creating process of creating a test piece 3 on which the tread groove 4 is formed; and a testing process of performing a groove bottom crack resistance performance test by using the test piece 3. In the test piece creating process, a planar rubber base material 5 made of the same rubber composition as the tread rubber 2 is adhered to a backing material 6 which is attached to one surface 5a of the rubber base material 5 and a made of a material having smaller thermal shrinkage than the rubber base material 5 by vulcanization. Furthermore, the test piece creating process includes a process of forming the tread groove 4 on the other surface 5b of the rubber base material 5 by the vulcanization or prior to the vulcanization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p>
