PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring more reality to an expression of a person who is an interactive party in the video for a user.SOLUTION: The video communication system includes: means for separating an imaged two dimensional image into a person area image and a space area image; means for estimating the size and posture of the person on an imaging side from a person area image and distance information; means for generating a person model by generating a three dimensional person model data corresponding to the person area image by deforming the three dimensional person model data stored to person model storage means on the basis of the size and posture of the estimated person and pasting the person area image as a texture to a surface of the person model defined by obtained three dimensional person model data; means for generating the synthesized three dimensional image of a space area image and the person model; means for detecting a viewpoint position of the person on a display side; means for converting from the three dimensional image to the two dimensional image according to the viewpoint position; and means for displaying the converted two dimensional image to a display device on the display side. |
