<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chloroprene latex which has a controlled pH and is usable over a long period of time while maintaining the latex stability in storage, and an adhesive composition containing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The chloroprene latex is characterized by comprising an acid having a minus common logarithmic value (pKa) of acid dissociation constant (Ka) of its water solution at 25°C of 7 or lower, an emulsifier formed of an alkali metal carboxylate and 0.5-5 pts.wt. of a stabilizer formed of an alkali metal sulfonate relative to 100 pts.wt. of chloroprene, and having a pH at 25°C of 9.0-12.0; and the adhesive composition is characterized by comprising the chloroprene latex. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
