<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method and a recovery apparatus for carbon dioxide which reduce cold heat amount of cooling water used for recovery of carbon dioxide and vaporized water quantity of a radiator and therefore can be easily implemented in a district poor in water resource.SOLUTION: The recovery apparatus includes an absorption tower, a regeneration tower and a pretreatment tower which preliminarily cools gas. The absorption tower includes a gas-liquid contact part which brings gas cooled in the pretreatment tower into contact with absorbent and causes the absorbent to absorb carbon dioxide and a cooling part which cools treated gas passing through the gas-liquid contact part, the regeneration tower heats the absorbent which has absorbed carbon dioxide in the absorption tower, releases carbon dioxide and regenerates the absorbent. The recovery apparatus further includes a water supply system which supplies water to the absorbent and supplies water of quantity corresponding to the total quantity of condensed water produced from gas by cooling of the pretreatment tower and condensed water produced from treated gas in the cooling part of the absorption tower. The cooling part is set in such a way that a difference between temperature of treated gas cooled in the cooling part and temperature of gas before being cooled in the pretreatment tower is 3°C or less.</p> |
