<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously achieve the improvement of productivity and the suppression of the generation of NO<SB>X</SB>without requiring the addition of a denitrification agent in the pickling operation of a stainless steel strip using a nitric hydrofluoric acid. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the pickling operation method for a stainless steel strip, in a pickling step of immersing and passing a stainless steel strip into a pickling liquid composed of a mixture of nitric acid-hydrofluoric acid in a pickling tank, pickling equipment provided with a means of cooling the pickling liquid by a heat exchanger is used, and jet pickling is performed in such a manner that the surface of the stainless steel strip is exposed to the jets of the pickling liquid discharged from a plurality of pickling liquid discharge ports provided below the liquid face of the pickling tank. Also, utilizing heat regeneration by the reaction heat in the pickling and heat removal by a heat exchanger, the temperature of the pickling liquid during the pickling is held to a pre-set temperature range (e.g. temperature range decided within the range of 40 to 70°C). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
