<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device capable of stably detecting an opening/closing state of a built-in on-off valve, and a method for detecting the opening/closing state of the valve device.SOLUTION: The valve device 1 comprises: a valve body 50 having a fluid flow passage 53 through which fluid passes; an on-off valve 30 for restraining a flow rate of the fluid; a spindle 20 for moving the on-off valve 30 to a fully-closed position for blocking the fluid flow passage 53 and a fully-opened position for fully opening the fluid flow passage 53; and an opening/closing detection mechanism 70 for detecting the opening/closing state of the on-off valve 30. Also, a method for detecting the opening/closing state of the valve device 1 is provided. The opening/closing detection mechanism 70 comprises: a planetary gear part 71 rotating in connection with rotation of the spindle 20, and a limit switch capable of switching the on/off state. The planetary gear part 71 is provided with a convex part for switching the on/off state of the limit switch at the fully-closed position or/and the fully-opened position.</p> |
