<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine system which is enabled to switch the combustion mode of an engine 1 into a stoichiometric combustion mode and a lean combustion mode in accordance with an engine load and which can enjoy the effect by the lean combustion mode and the stoichiometric combustion mode in a rational state while keeping the running state of the engine 1 stable by preventing a hunting due to the frequent switching of the combustion mode.SOLUTION: Control means 20 executes a rotational speed increase restricting operation for restricting the increase of the rotational speed of an engine 1 at a predetermined stand-by time, at the time point immediately before the combustion mode of the engine 1 is switched in accordance with the increase of an engine load from a lean combustion mode to a stoichiometric combustion mode.</p> |
