PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment instrument insertion auxiliary tool capable of smoothly guiding a tip side of a treatment instrument in a center axis direction of an insertion opening of a treatment instrument channel.SOLUTION: A treatment instrument insertion auxiliary tool for assisting the insertion of a treatment instrument into a treatment instrument channel includes: a funnel-shaped treatment instrument guide part provided with a first opening connected to a treatment instrument channel opening, and a second opening having a bore larger than that of the first opening; and a guide groove part formed on the entire inner peripheral surface of the funnel-shaped treatment instrument guide part for guiding a tip side of the treatment instrument in a center direction of the opening of the treatment instrument channel along the longitudinal direction of the funnel shape.
