The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing overcharge of a battery, and more specifically, to an apparatus for preventing overcharge of a battery for detecting overvoltage to be used as the input power of a passive element and preventing power supplied to the battery in overcharge. The present invention includes: an input voltage distribution unit which distributes the voltage of a battery cell; a voltage detecting unit which operates when a voltage higher than a specific voltage is detected; and a power blocking unit which blocks the power supplied to a battery pack. |
