PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of sufficiently preventing leakage of light from a bottom face of a mounting substrate.SOLUTION: The light-emitting device comprises a mounting substrate 2, and a resin package 6 which is disposed on a top face of the mounting substrate, in which a light-emitting element 10 is accommodated, and which includes a first lead 4a and a second lead 4b. A side face of the resin package includes a cavity 8 in which the light-emitting element 10 is accommodated. The first lead and the second lead include: intra-cavity exposed parts for connecting with a positive or negative electrode of the light-emitting element within the cavity and bottom face exposed parts exposed from a bottom face of the resin package for electrically connecting a first wiring layer 12a and a second wiring layer 12b provided on a top face of the mounting substrate. In a top face view in a direction vertical to the top face of the mounting substrate, a third wiring layer 14a having a light shield property provided on the mounting substrate is disposed between the bottom face exposed part of the first lead and the bottom face exposed part of the second lead. |
