The present invention relates to a control apparatus for controlling an electronic device. The control apparatus includes a main body part which has a planarization surface on one side; a moving part which has a flat shape, is separated with a preset distance along the planarization surface of the main body, and moves in a direction horizontal to the planarization surface according to the operation of a user; a connection part which is prepared between the main body and the moving part, and connects the main body and the moving part to allow the moving part to move within a preset range; a moving detection part which detects the moving direction of the moving part with respect to the main body part; a communication part which communicates with an electronic device; and a control part which controls the transmission of a first signal which includes information about the moving direction of the moving part to the electronic device through the communication part. Thereby, an existing input method is replaced, and also a new input experience is provided to a user.
