PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance detection accuracy of wrinkles generated in an MEA.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an inspection method for a membrane electrode assembly. This method includes: a preparation step for preparing the membrane electrode assembly in which light-transmittable phase paper is stuck to one surface; a photographing step for photographing the membrane electrode assembly to which the phase paper is stuck, from the surface side of the phase paper; and a wrinkle detection step for detecting wrinkles generated in the membrane electrode assembly based on a photographed image obtained by photographing.
