Provided is an apparatus for removing scale from the surface of a slab, which includes a chamber having an entrance and an exit to introduce the slab therein, a spray nozzle installed at upper and lower ends inside the chamber to spray high-pressure water onto the surface of the slab, and a scale removing roll installed at a lower end of a door installed at the entrance or the exit of the chamber to make contact with the surface of the slab in order to remove the scale. Therefore, the scale can be more accurately detached and removed from the slab. |
