PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an organic emitting layer having excellent characteristics.SOLUTION: Improved electroluminescence efficiency in organic light emitting diodes is obtained with an emitting layer comprising organic metallic complexes of transition metal of formula LMX (in a formula, L and X are distinct bidentate ligands). Compounds of this formula can be synthesized more easily than the ones by a conventional method, and insertion of fluorescent molecules into a phosphorescent complex, and insertion of the ligands to perform fine tuning of luminescent color and the ligands to trap carriers can be performed by an optional synthetic selection.
