PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture medium for hydroponics, a container for hydroponics, a kit with plant seeds for hydroponics, a method of hydroponics, and a manufacturing method of a culture medium for hydroponics which are capable of improving safety of hydroponics and promoting growth of plants.SOLUTION: Since a culture medium 1 comprises a first fiber 21 having biodegradability and a second fiber 22 having biodegradability, harmful substance is not transferred to nutrient liquid even in the state where the medium is housed into a cultivation pot 2 and immersed in nutrient liquid of a cultivation tray 3. Further, the first fiber 21 extending in a predetermined fiber direction D1 and the second fiber 22 extending in the predetermined fiber direction D1 are bundled into a fiber bundle 20, and a support layer 23 which supports the fiber bundle is formed on an outer peripheral side in the state where gap between fibers is kept. Therefore, roots extended from a seed not only easily extend in the fiber direction D1, but also easily extend in a direction crossing the fiber direction by growing through gap between fibers. |
