<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of easily setting an imaging area of an intervertebral disk, in an image diagnostic examination where the intervertebral disk is imaged.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus incudes an extraction section and a setting section. The extraction section extracts an intervertebral disk area ranging from back bones drawn in a plurality of sagittal images, to the plurality of sagittal images, on the basis of the plurality of sagittal images including at least the intervertebral disk of a subject. The setting part sets an imaging area of the intervertebral disk, on the basis of that intervertebral disk area.</p> |
