PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern printing device which accurately performs pattern printing with a small and simple structure, and to provide a pattern printing method.SOLUTION: A pattern printing device includes: a stage 15 on which a ceramic green sheet 11 is placed; a printing unit 17 which makes prints on the ceramic green sheet 11 placed on the stage 15 with an ink 16; a dry unit 21 having a lid shape and covering the ceramic green sheet 11 where the printing is performed with the ink 16; and a replacement mechanism which replaces the printing unit 17 with the dry unit 21 and vice versa above the ceramic green sheet 11. The dry unit 21 has a space for incorporating the ceramic green sheet 11 placed on the stage 15 therein. The space is decompressed by a decompression unit.
