PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer capable of preventing occurrence of clogging of an inkjet head due to cooling operation in which a paper feed motor is stopped and cooled.SOLUTION: In the inkjet printer, a print control unit 1 performs printing by alternately repeating one path print operation and paper feed operation. A first determination unit determines whether or not heat release from the paper feed motor is needed before performing the paper feed operation, and when the heat release is needed, a first heat release control unit performs a first cooling operation in which the operation of the paper feed motor is stopped for a first heat release waiting time. If it has reached timing for flushing at this moment, a flushing control unit starts flushing during the first cooling operation. |
