METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUBSTANCE CONTAINING NOBILETIN AND TANGERETIN DERIVED FROM CITRUS FRUITS, AND NOBILETIN- AND TANGERETIN-CONTAINING SUBSTANCE OBTAINED THEREBY

The purpose is to provide a method for manufacture a fraction containing nobiletin and tangeretin in high concentration and having excellent safety, economic efficiency, and commercialization. The above-stated purpose is achieved by a method for manufacturing substance containing nobiletin and tangeretin, and a nobiletin- and tangeretin-containing substance obtained thereby, the method comprising: a step (1-1) for obtaining a hot water-treated product by treating citrus fruits with hot water; a step (1-2) for obtaining a dried product by drying the hot water-treated product; a step (1-3) for obtaining a nobiletin and tangeretin lysate by treating the dried product with a solvent capable solubilizing nobiletin and tangeretin; a step (3) for obtaining a nobiletin and tangeretin condensate by condensing and/or drying the nobiletin and tangeretin lysate; and a step (4) for obtaining a nobiletin- and tangeretin-containing substance as an insoluble component by treating the nobiletin and tangeretin condensate with a dilute alkali.
