The device has a rebate bed (32) for fixing a skin paneling part (40). A shaping region (48) of a rebate bracket (36) is provided with a mold bevel (54), where a metal sheet rebate (42) of the skin paneling part is shaped by the mold bevel to form a wedge rebate (46). The bracket comprises a support portion (50) for guiding along the bed. The bevel is arranged in a corner region between the support portion and the shaping region. The rebate bed extends transverse to the shaping region. An interior part (38) and the skin paneling part are fixable by the bed and a pressing element (34). The pressing element is designed as a pressing frame. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an interior part and skin paneling part integrated metal sheet component of a motor vehicle.
