PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-adhesive tape enabling the printing to be optionally carried out directly on a small roll for a product, to provide an on-demand printing method, and to provide a self-adhesive tape roll printed by the on-demand printing method. SOLUTION: The self-adhesive tape roll is prepared by winding the self-adhesive tape having an adhesive layer formed on one surface of a base material, and a releasing and printable layer formed on the other surface of the base material so that the adhesive layer may be present at the inside. The printable layer contains an amorphous polyester and a non-silicone release polymer in a mass ratio of (amorphous polyester):(release polymer) regulated so as to be from 75:25 to 99.5:0.5, and the printable layer has a pattern or a character formed by on-demand printing by an ink.
