PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a lithium secondary battery, excellent in papermaking stability, thin, high in uniformity, high in charge/discharge efficiency, and high in a discharge capacity retention rate even when overcharged, and a lithium secondary battery including the separator for a lithium secondary battery.SOLUTION: A separator for a lithium secondary battery is paper made of solvent-spun cellulose fibers having a modified freeness of 75-250 ml and a length-weighted average fiber length of 0.80-1.80 mm. |
