PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which automatically changes its mode to a security mode in order to enhance performance of its security function and improve rapidity for taking countermeasure when the device is theft or lost, so that reliability of the security function is enhanced.SOLUTION: An information processing device (2) having a radio communication function, comprises: radio communication means (8), storage means (10), determination means (12), and control means (16). The radio communication means acquires communication information (6) from an access point (4) in a radio communicable range. The storage means stores registered communication information which can be received in an authenticated area. The determination means determines whether the information processing device is in the authenticated area on the basis of degree of coincidence of the registered communication information (14) stored in storage means and the communication information acquired by the radio communication means. Then, the control means performs lock control on the basis of the determination result. |
