PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent re-floatation of a fission product when an abnormality occurs in the reactor and the fission product is discharged into an upper dry well.SOLUTION: A spray nozzle 42a for injecting a cooling-water on whole area of an upper surface 16b of a diaphragm floor 16 and a spray nozzle 42b for injecting the cooling-water on whole area of an inner surface 19a of an outer peripheral wall are installed inside an upper dry well 11. The diaphragm floor 16 is formed like an inclined surface gradually descending in direction toward an inner periphery from an outer periphery, and is provided with a gate 33 at the innermost periphery. A bent tube 30 for guiding the cooling-water including the fissure product discharged into the upper dry well 11 is provided at the inner side of the diaphragm floor 16.
