PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for carrying a workpiece out/in which easily carries out/in the workpiece and to provide a drying apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus for carrying the workpiece out/in has an operation part 4 and a load balancer device 5. The operation part 4 has: a box-shaped operation body 6 loaded with an air regulator; a long and bar-shaped arm member 7 arranged on the front side of the operation body 6; a fixing mechanism 8; and a pair of grasping members 10. The arm member 7 is inserted into the inner peripheral surface of the workpiece 3 to thereby hold the workpiece 3 and is configured to slide the held workpiece 3 along the axial direction.
