<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing cap easily mountable on and detachable from the end of a pipe or a pipe connecting device or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This closing cap 4 for closing an end of a cylindrical body 5 of a pipe or a pipe connecting device 3 or the like comprises e concrete accommodating portion 14 that has a fitting portion 7 formed in a cylindrical shape and that is fitted into the inside of the cylindrical body 5 to open downward only, and with a deformation permitting portion 20 that opens upward only and that permits the fitting portion 7 to deform inward.
