<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery module in which optical loss and resistance loss due to a connection member can be reduced, and a manufacturing cost can be reduced and power generation efficiency can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The solar battery module has front surface side connection tabs 2 which are formed so that the front surfaces of two adjacent solar cells 1, 1a are electrically connected. The two solar cells 1, 1a connected by the tabs 2 form one pair. Rear side connection tabs 3 are each formed so as to electrically connect the rear surfaces of a solar cells 1 of each pair to the rear surfaces of a solar cells 1a of another pair. The number of tabs 2 is smaller than the number of tabs 3. The center position of a width direction of each the tabs 2 is different from the center position of a width direction of each of the tabs 3.
