PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system, radio base stations, and a communication method which can reduce a processing load in a core network and also realize handover between the base stations.SOLUTION: An eNB 100 transmits handover request to handover a UE 50 from the eNB 100 to an eNB 200 via a transmission path between the base stations. The eNB 200 receives the handover request from the eNB 100, and completes the handover of the UE 50 from the eNB 100 to the eNB 200 by using a communication path with the UE 50 via a highway between an MME 20 and the eNB 100 and the transmission path between the base stations. |
