The present invention relates to a middle- or large-sized battery pack used as a power source of middle- to large-sized devices such as hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, power storage devices, and the like requiring a large output, a high capacity, a long lifespan characteristic and an excellent safety, and, in particular, to a middle- to large-sized battery pack which maximizes the space utilization, increases the volume energy density by removing the heat generated from the unit cells in charge/discharge with using an air cooling type cooling system only, and has a bigger charge/discharge capacity at a high temperature over the room temperature (25°C) than the charge/discharge capacity at the room temperature.
