The method involves elongating an observation vector by integrating sampling period of the observation vector, where the sampling period corresponds to band receivers according to Shannon's theorem. Joint estimation of arrival angles or positions of incident transmitters of each of the signal receiving stations exploiting linear models is performed. Direct geolocation of sources of the transmitters is performed based on the estimated arrival angles or positions of the transmitters.
