PURPOSE: An electrophoretic display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to increase the area of a pixel region by changing the structure of a partition wall without reducing the width of a partition wall. CONSTITUTION: A pixel electrode(210) is arranged on a first substrate(110). A common electrode(220) is arranged on a second substrate(120). Electrophoretic particles(100R,100G,100B) are formed between the first substrate and the second substrate. A partition wall(300) is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate and defines a space for the electrophoretic particles. The partition wall includes a step-shaped side part.
