PURPOSE: A method for displaying content on a transmitting/receiving terminal and a system thereof are provided to display a desired image or a desired video on an opponent terminal, thereby enabling a transmitter or a receiver to create a promotion effect and an image management effect for an opponent. CONSTITUTION: When a transmitting terminal calls, the transmitting terminal transmits receiver information and transmitter information to a management server(600). The management server detects client information by using the receiver information and the transmitter information. The management server detects the client information through connection with a related company server(700). The management server combines the client information with predetermined additional information or content and transmits combined information to a transmitting terminal or a receiving terminal. The transmitting terminal or the receiving terminal displays the information or the combined information as a transmitting or receiving waiting screen.
