<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that further improves performance effects based on three-dimensional images. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a special game state control means for generating a special game state if a special result is derived as a result of a game; a display device for displaying a performance related to the derivation of the special result; a performance device disposed in front of the display device for executing the performance related to the derivation of the special result; and a performance control means for controlling the display device and the performance device. The display device displays a planar image and a three-dimensional image to be visually recognized at a position at a distance forward of a display surface. The performance control means includes an image switching means for changing the planar image to the three-dimensional image, and a performance device control means for moving the performance device to a position overlapping the display surface of the display device. The image switching means performs control so that the distance between the three-dimensional image and the display surface is gradually increased.
