WATER TREATING DEVICE AND WATER TREATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treating device and a water treating method capable of further enhancing water treating deficiency and economical efficiency while securing mechanical strengths and water permeability.

SOLUTION: The water treating device has a membrane module 1 using a hollow fiber membrane 2 by a single main constituting material having a self-standing structure in which an outer diameter is 3.5 mm to 10 mm and an SDR value being a ratio of the outer diameter to the wall thickness is 5.8 to 34, and the water treating method includes carrying out water treatment by total filtration and backwash alternately using the same.
