<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove large image distortion caused by two-dimensional repetitive deflection drive of a predetermined reflection mirror surface in a scanning type image display device that has a function projectingly displaying a two-dimensional image on a projection screen by two-dimensionally scanning optical beam by repetitive deflection means of the predetermined reflection mirror surface. <P>SOLUTION: A wedge-shaped or trapezoidal prism 10 having a predetermined refractive index and a predetermined vertex angle is disposed in an optical path between repetitive deflection means 9 and a projection screen 20 so as to favorably correct the image distortion generated in optical beam scanning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
