The invention relates to an apparatus for flue gas purification and waste heat utilisation in the case of relatively small furnaces. It is used for flue gas purification and for using the sensible and latent heat of the flue gas. The aim of the invention is to create an apparatus for flue gas purification which has a high long-term availability with low space requirement and adaptability to the mode of operation of the furnace and which, at the same time, improves the possibility of heat decoupling. According to the invention, the object is achieved by arrangement of a cyclone wet separator directly above a sedimentation tank, by mounting actuating elements for regulating the working width of the cyclone element and the clean gas-side water level and thus the pressure drop of the wet separator and is achieved by the design of a special flue gas precooler unit.
