The present invention relates to a method for controlling an automatic cleaner. According to one aspect of this invention, the method for controlling an automatic cleaner is a method whereby cleaning can be carried out while moving in a state of attachment to a cleaning surface sloping relative to the ground, comprising: a step in which the automatic cleaner is operated such that cleaning of the cleaning surface is started; a step of determining whether cleaning has finished during the cleaning of the cleaning surface; and a step in which the automatic cleaner returns to the cleaning start position and is stopped, when the cleaning of the cleaning surface has finished. |
